It’s always a delight when we receive wedding photos from clients! And, its definitely no exception here with Alex and Laura’s simple and rustic Fall wedding.
So many months were spent working closely on the details and it’s exciting to finally see those plans come to life – especially the cake!
When Alex and Laura contacted us, they communicated 2 main goals for the cake:
1. As self-appointed foodies with a mutual love of baking and cooking, it was especially important for the flavor profile of the cake to really shine and to be the culinary highlight of the reception.
2. In addition, the cake design needed to have a light and airy aesthetic that would compliment their venue, Black Hawk Golf Course.
Alex and Laura therefore opted for not one but TWO beautiful wedding cakes that complimented each other.
